We are seeking an experienced and motivated Helpdesk (level 2)/On-site Support Officer to join our client, a national Managed Services organisation based in Perth - just out of the CBD. You will need to be motivated, outgoing and customer focused in order to succeed in this role. Main responsibilities: - Provision of Tier 1 and 2 support and problem resolution
- Accepting support requests and recording requests in the Help Desk system.
- Coordinating feedback to customer sites on the status and progress of logged calls and update the Help Desk system accordingly.
- Maintain documentation and ensure adherence to IT policies & procedures.
- Install new systems when required
- Provide support for hardware platforms, networks, operating systems and application software
- Ability to define and analyse IT user problems accurately
Essential Technical Skills: - Good working knowledge of computer hardware
- Experience in Level 2 support
- Experience with Desktop technologies (Active Directory, Exchange, Windows 7/XP and MS Office suite 2003/2007,2010)
