We have an immediate opportunity for an experienced Application Support/Service Delivery Lead to join this established and professional medium sized IT Services organisation to take overall responsibility for the delivery of managed applications and support for a Key Enterprise client.

Reporting to the Practice Manager, your daily responsibility is to provide leadership, direction and motivation to all key support staff as well as a number of key client managers/stakeholders in order to contribute to the ongoing success and growth of the relationship.

The role will be a bit of a mix of both proactive and reactive service management and you will be accountable for some of the following tasks:

• Daily workforce management and planning
• Workload distribution across Junior and Senior Consultants & Architects
• SLA management
• Client communication and reporting
• Application consulting and training
• Operational management
• Promoting further services

To be suitable for this role you will have to be able to demonstrate experience in a similar role as well as having excellent multi-tasking, communication and interpersonal skills as well as being able to make relevant decisions and solve problems with minimum guidance. This is an immediate engagement and our ideal candidate will have have worked for a medium or larger Service Provider and have a big company thinking when it comes to methodologies and frameworks.

Whilst there is a delivery framework in place, the practice has new clients coming on board regularly and this is an opportunity to streamline and improve their current ITIL service delivery processes. Previous experience in the establishment and implementation of SLAs and process will be extremely relevant and the scope for this role would be to take on more clients as the Managed Services portfolio grows.
